Sarah Duncan produces beautiful hand printed images influenced by science, astronomy, and microscopy. She has a keen interest in what telescopic and microscopic technology has allowed us to see: details hidden from the naked eye. Sarah has taken on immense research: photographing, drawing and documenting her subjects. In 2014 she travelled to the Kitt Peak National Observatory in Arizona, USA to gain insight in astronomy, telescopic technology and to collect visual references.
Her preferred printing methods include lithography, etching, and screen printing.
